ET interjú 2012 Comic Con

I: Is this your first movie you actually had a sex scene in it? I know it’s the first sex scene of the Twilight series.
RP: First one in it as well, I mean, yeah, I’ve actually done a bunch, I’ve done…
I: You’re ……. At this point.
RP: Basically a porn star.
I: So was it awkward at all? I know a lot of fans are dying to see that scene.
RP: I don’t find it awkward. It’s one of the only scenes where, I mean unless you got a very strange director, they kind of just leave you to it, you know you’re already being judged, like once he says action, it’s like, that’s it. But it was kind of fun, this was different, cause it’s sort of fantasy, there are a lot of different emotional context and physically different things to it. You know, conventional sex scene in the movie. So it’s quite fun to play, it was pretty funny doing it.
I: How is Kristen as a mother?
RP: She’s a great mother, she’s tough. She’s a wolf mother.
I: Tough love, right?
RP: Yeah.

(Gyakorlott??)
RP: Egy pornó sztár, ami azt illeti.
I: Szóval kínos volt?
Tudod, sablonos szex a filmben. Szóval jó móka volt, vicces volt.
I: Kristen milyen anyaként?
RP: Nagyszerű, de szigorú. Mint egy anyafarkas.

Riport a 2008-as Comic Con után

LC: So Rob, you were just downstairs in Hall H. I’ve seen enormous movies debut there with like enormous stars. I’ve never heard of any sort of reaction like you got down there. It was like, Elvis like.
RP: Wow, that’s ... Elvis like. Yeah, that was pretty impressive. That was pretty scary. I don’t know. I was really stunned, actually. I’m kind of overwhelmed, like exhausted now.
LC: Is it like the type of scream that makes you wanna rip off your shirt and do a little dance and just like point right at the crowd?
RP: No, not at all. It’s the type of scream that makes you think ’what are you screaming about?’. It’s like, yeah, you know, you think you have to give something back, and maybe that is what it was, but I reckon if I take my shirt off then the screams would die up pretty quickly.
LC: My favourite comment of the time, you were down there and somebody from the audience screamed ’I love you Rob’ and you said good.
RP: Oh really? That’s embarrassing. It was really odd. It’s just really odd, it’s the character they like, though. I don’t know. It’s just really strange, I haven’t had such a connection with girls, it’s really bizarre.
LC: Now Catherine and Stephenie got into Bella’s lullaby a little bit, tell us about what does it sound like?
RP: I don’t know actually. I haven’t heard it.
LC: Well it’s your music that you performed.
RP: Oh-oh, yeah, the one I do – I think there’s another song which is just one of my songs, which is in another point, I’m not entirely sure where they gonna do it, it’s towards the end of the movie. But it’s not like Edward related, I don’t know if they’re gonna use it, but there was one cut of it the other day which had that song in.
LC: Okay and like what ’s the name, what’s it about?
RP: I don’t really know, it’s just a weird little song, it’s just really random, but it comes in a strange point in the movie. But the lullaby is just, I was just playing the piano randomly, and I don’t know, I was just trying to come up with something and they just kept shooting while I was playing.

LC: Szóval Rob, most voltál lent a Hall H-ben. Már láttam pár óriási filmet óriási sztárokkal. Mégse hallottam még ilyen reakciót, mint amit most kaptál ott lent. Mintha Elvis jelent volna meg.
RP: Wow, Elvis.

Comic Con 2012

Kristen and Rob talk about getting frisky in Breaking Dawn. Hey friends, happy Monday and thanks for sticking with me right here at Clevver News. The cast of Breaking Dawn part 2 got fans excited for the final movie installment by kicking off promotion at San Diego Comic-Con. I was on hand (??) to watch Kristen, Rob, Taylor, Mackenzie and the rest of the crew chat with the media, and I couldn’t help but laugh when Kristen talked about filming those scenes that almost got the flick in R-18. And then got a little snappy with Rob, playfully, of course. Take a look to see it yourself.
KS: I think, how do you have, Mackenzie, go away. How do you have, like, cause we were, you know, we were supposed to have mindbuggling(??), other wordly sex, in the first, in Breaking Dawn 1, and we like really, huhh, this is weird. We tried to keep the first one like sweet. It was like really like discovery and like it was so not like, nothing about this series is raunchy, and I know, no but I know
RP: You missed the point, Kristen.
KS: Shut the fuck up. But in the second one
Valaki: Where is Mackenzie’s swear jar?
KS: It’s just fun, I’ll just open a hospital
RP: You’re just so irresponsible, talking about sex and swearing.
KS: But in the second one we just wanted to be animals. They are not humans anymore. It’s like, how do you do that? We tried and they told us that is was really dark (???1:51) and we were like csettint. So yeah, that was that.

Kristen és Rob lelkesen beszélnek a Breaking Dawn-ról. Sziasztok, boldog hétfőt nektek és köszönöm, hogy csatlakoztok hozzám a Clevver News-on. A Breaking Dawn második részének a szereplői a San Diego-i Comic-Con-on hozták lázba a rajongókat a film reklámozásával.
RP: Lemaradtál a lényegről, Kristen.
KS: Pofa be.
KS: De a másodikban állatiassá akartunk válni.

EW riport a 2009-es Comic Con-on

I: My first question to you Chris is have you ever been here before?
CW: I’ve never been to Comic-Con before and I feel like this won’t be a regular Comic-Con experience
I: No.
CW: Since the Twilight fans are out in force, and I really, really what I wanna do is slip under the radar and kick out for about an hour at the end of the day, which is probably what I’m gonna do.
I: The problem is though you’re under the radar right now, before your panel. As soon as you have your panel you may not be anymore under the radar.
CW: Oh, but there’s a various plan, because they’re showing Twilight again this evening, I think it will suck up all the Twi fans and I’ll be able to kind of mingle and makes my fellow geeks undetected, hopefully.

I: Nem.

I: Both Kristen and Rob, you guys talked about in the press-conference how much you love New Moon and that’s your favourite book in the series. Can you tell us a little bit more why that’s the one that really does it for you?
KS: For me it was because it was the most challenging. Not that they’re ever at ease, the relationship is always sort of strange, it was just like sort of the lowest point in the series and also like at the end of that it’s absolutely the most hightened, I mean, the scene where we sort of forgive each other and get by, it happens within, I mean it happens in like 10 seconds, like no talk, you know, we don’t even need to talk about it. It was like the one that affected me the most.

CW: I hadn’t read the book before the idea of doing the film came up. I just loved the cast and thought they’re a very talented young actors and when I read the book you can really see the kind of archetyple longing that is embodies. And having been broken up so many times in my life I felt like I could really identify with Bella.

CW: Nem olvastam a könyvet mielőtt szóba került, hogy elkészül a film. Imádtam a szereplőket, úgy gondoltam, hogy egy csoportnyi nagyon tehetséges színésszel lesz dolgom, aztán amikor elolvastam a könyvet, tényleg látni lehetett vágyakozást. És mivel elég sokszor szakítottam életemben, igazán azonosulni tudtam Bellával.

RP: My sort of opinion of the whole seires the relationship between Edward and Bella, I always saw as, you know, the thing which I was relating to, which I was trying to kind of draw from was, you know, when you’re a guy, you find yourself becoming, or being so in love with someone – what?  Shut up.
AG: Just looking at the TV
KS: .... you’re on a role, I think you should keep going.

Pofa be.
AG: Csak a tévét nézzük.
KS: .... szerintem csak folytasd.

I: You had two big issues to deal with, you had one Jacob transforming into a werewolf, was that a challenge to tackle?
CW: Hard for Taylor, really hard for Taylor to become a werewolf, so we eventually had to resort to computer effects. No I mean, the challenge with that is to get a special effect that isn’t cheesey and that’s elegantly done and --- with studios. ---- being a legend in the effects community is handling and doing a beautiful job.

I: And Taylor you had a lot of work to do on this movie. You had to bulk up real big, but you also had to do a lot of stunts and things like that.
TL: Yeah, yeah, it was a lot of fun. I actually, I almos had to do all of my own stunts.
I: You tried, right?
TL: Mm-hmm. Which was fun. I got to do all of the dirt-biking, there was so much of that. Just kidding. No, but yeah, I got to like practice dirt-bike riding and do that, I got to do a few other things.
KS: He, like had to pull himself into a window. It was really impressive.
TL: Yeah, it was fun.
I: Yeah?
TL: Yeah, yeah.
KS: It was insane. It was something actually I should have done.

I: És Taylor, sokat kellett dolgoznod ezen a filmen.
I: Próbáltad, mi?
TL: Mm-hmm.
I: Tényleg?
TL: Igen, igen.
KS: Őrületes volt. Mintha inkább nekem kellett volna az csinálnom.

RP: You find yourself like in love with someone or something and you know, it becomes you start to see too much of yourself, you become aware of yourself of SHUT UP! God!
KS: I’m sorry.
RP: Yeah, and starts to, God I can’t concentrate anymore. You get so obsessed with you thinkink you’re not good enough cause you think the other, you keep elevating the other person
KS: Neither of them think they’re worthy.
RP: But Bella is the one who can like handle stuff and Edward is just an idiot and New Moon is like, it’s the only time where he, in Twilight he can think in his absolute HAHHHHH this is why I never, whenever anyone asks about if we have chemistry in the cast, you know, it’s like complete animosity.
I: Yeah, right.

I: Igen, hogyne.

2014. július 14., hétfő

München 2009. november 16 Twilight New Moon sajtókonfrencia

CW: The point of your question is, ’okay, great, so you’re in this very successful movie, but will you be typecast?’. And I don’t see that happening, I’ve been around the block for quite a bit, known a lot of actors and this is an extraordinarily talented team. They all have the, each one of them has the ability to do anything. I genuinely believe that. Robert?
RP: I was getting a little bit emotional there.
CW: Yeah, I’m sorry.
RP: Yeah, I mean, the only thing I can add is just that when you’re in I guess the eye of the storm, you don’t really notice anything else. I haven’t had time to see any kind of perspective. So I guess maybe in two or three years, it’s been such a kind of supernova, all the films have been shot and they’ve come out so close together, and the kind of fanasism (??) around has exploded so quickly that you don’t even notice it. I mean, I we were just down the street or wherever it was and it just seems like I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but I still feel like I’m part of the audience, I’m not even there, I’m looking at 20000 people screaming, but I have no idea what they’re screaming at. I mean, at all.

KS: Every single time we cut, there would be like an eruption of applause. Usually when you say cut, it takes a couple of seconds to sort of go ’ohh that was weird, huh’, you know just like shake it off, like think about how you gonna do the next one better, but in this case it was like instantly, you’re taken completely out of the moment. It was like doing theatre.

RP: There was I think the moment, when Edward is stepping out into the sunlight, which I was terrified about doing, I think ended up, I guess because of the atmosphere in the square where we were shooting, just the moment of stepping down those steps in Italy was kind of one of the stand-out points in my life, I think. Huh. What is my favourite... hmm... Schnitzel.

Huh. Mi a kedvenc... hmmm... Schnitzel (rántott hús/hússzelet).

CW: Well in fact, I had an entire platter for lunch of various Münich specialties, including hamhock (??) and meatloaf and there was Schnitzel too, but there’s more than just that, Rob.

KS: I really (3X) kind of love hot cheetos, like spicy chetoos, not the orange ones, the red ones, they’re really actually disgusting but,
TL: I hate those.
KS: Yeah. But they’re good, they literally burn you burn your life (??? Vagy sem). I like spicy food.
TL: I’m pretty simple. I like steak. I like burgers.

KS: Nagyon nagyon nagyon szeretem a csípős nem-tudom-miket. Nem a narancssárgát, hanem a pirosat. Igazából undorítóak, de
TL: Azokat ki nem állhatom.
KS: Igen. De jók, szó szerint égetnek. Szeretem a csípős ételeket.
Szeretem a hamburgereket.

Valószínűleg ennél több is volt azon a konferencián :)

RPAU Maria beszélget Robbal

M: Hi Rob
RP: Hi
M: How are you doing? My question, David said I have to ask you, is your tattoo, Rey’s tattoo, what was the idea behind it and what the hell is it doing?
RP: No one ever asked that.
M: There you go, that’s the burning question from your fans, they wanna ask to find out what the hell that tattoo was doing
RP: There are a few different ones. The one on my arm is
M: The one on your shoulder
RP: is a kind of sculpture. Sitting in the 0:28
M: Oh is it?
RP: Yeah.
M: What’s it doing? It looks like it’s praying.
RP: It’s a woman (???), on her/the knees.
M: Is it?
RP: But I just got it for some reason, no idea why doing it, and the other one is ACS
M: Yeah, what’s ACS stand for?
RP: It’s just a made up gang sign
M: Is it?
RP: And there’s an another one, that’s a weird a half-crucifix thing with a snake on it. But I don’t know what it meant.
M: Your performances, beautiful work.
Thank you mindenki.

M: Hello Rob
RP: Hello
M: A válladon?
RP: Az egyfajta szobor.
M: Oh igen?
RP: Igen.

The Rover sajtótájékoztató Robsessedes lányok 2

I: .... come from?
RP: David is.... I didn’t realize .... this song . I thought David just found it. But I kind of love that song.
GP: That was my ....
DM: I wanted to have a moment in the movie that was particularly, at that particular juction of the film for that to be a moment to remind the audience the Rob’s character was just a kid, who in different circumstances would probably just be listening to music and thinking about girls and playing with his hair in the mirror.
RP: There’s a lipstick with the performance as well (nem ezt mondja) having, you know, that moment in another movie would be like ohh really thinking deeply about my next move, and it kind of looks like that from a distance.
GP: Just sing it off! ------ sing a song.

I: .... honnan jött?

I: The scene felt sad too, though. Like, it has a sense, a very sad feeling to it, because of the build up of the whole film and where we know where you guys are going next, and I just wanted to add that it was funny --- they made it seem like it’s funny, I didn’t laugh, I was just like sad.
DM: It’s exactly right, and that’s what I mean, that that point, that particular junction in the movie for that to be a reminder that Rob was just a kid, for that moment and sit and stue, and for him to get out of that car and step to Guy and the campfire say something really kind of sad and tragic.
RP: And also in that scene he is kind of excited about .........
GP: It’s interesting that that decision, whether that decision was made during the song, but the stating of that decision comes out of having just sung that song. Or having just been a kid, as you say.
DM: Yeah. 2:06

I: Az a jelenet szomorú is volt egyben.
RP: Abban a jelenetben izgatott is a ..... miatt.
DM: Igen.

I: This film certainly fits within the group of artisticly adventouros films you’ve made outside of the Twilight franchise. I’m curious, is this the realm that you hope to kind of work in going forward, do you wanna keep switching it up, what do you hope your fans will follow you from Twilight into films like this, what do you hope in that they are getting out of that experience?
RP: I don’t really have any particular kind of preconceived plan. I mean, each of the Twilight movies I kind of approached them all as individual movies. I never really saw it as going back to work or whatever. I don’t know, I mean I hope, you can’t really predict what audiences gonna like or even if they’re gonna follow you do anything, but I don’t know, I think if you try and make challenging stuff when you put your heart into it, then hopefully someone, at least one of the persons gonna like it.
DM: I will.

I: Ez a film mindenképp beleiillik abba a művészetileg kalandos filmek sorába amiket a Twilight-on kívül csináltál.
DM: Nekem tetszeni fog.

I: We are from the Rover’s fans’ blog and from Robsessed, and we loved the movie David, I just wanted to say that we thought it was fantastic and our first question is for Guy and for Rob, in the movie there was a lot of silent moments, they’re pretty impactful (???) with the tone and the emotion of the movie, so I wanted to know what you guys were thinking when you were playing so many silent moments, not a lot of dialog, but when you were being suitured (??? 3:46) up and staring at Eric’s sleeping and Guy all the scenes that, just in your eyes and what you’re expressing, I didn’t know if you were having any backstory as actors to those silent moments since they had such a heavy impact to me.
GP: Well I think if there’s any backstory, that’s not necessarily what you’re thinking about, that’s just stuff that you know, that works for your character, that gets you in a place of confidence to be able to go and play the character. It’s interesting as an actor, because you’re half thinking about what your character should be thinking about, and you’re half thinking about the technical stuff, I suppose. I do sometimes about the camera and position and you know, which way is gonna sort of evoke more of the appropriate emotion, if your head’s bowed down or across, you know technical stuff as well, I mean I like not to think about that stuff too much, but sometimes you can’t help it. And whether or not you’re thinking about that or whether you’re just kind of conscious about on some sort of level. And it changes all the time, but I think really, particularly with a movie like this, it is so subtle, but heavily lined (???) with deeply routed emotional stuff, you’re just trying to be in that stuff, you’re just trying to sit in that emotional place, because that’s what’s gonna translate the most honestly I suppose.
RP: The first moment looking at you when you’re asleep in the chair, I still remember that... /I don’t remember the exact... because I kept trying, they kind of being stuck between two channels all the time and he sort of there’s nothing, but I remember that – because I was supposed to be waking up and then looking at him and I remember talking to you about now here’s a start just in the middle of the room
GP: Already awake.
RP: Yeah and just kind of you’re starting in the middle and you never really, it doesn’t, kept past the middle. But I think that’s what a lot of in all those moments trying to not think about anything at all.
DM: I liked that stuff.

RP: A legtöbb pillanatban próbálok semmire sem gondolni.
DM: Nekem tetszettek.

I: And two more questions.
I: This is for David, was there any specific scene that was particularly challenging for you and that you knew that if you didn’t write you wouldn’t have the movie you wanted? (??)
DM: I think, I find all scenes challenging on that level, every one of the scenes are important to me, I don’t, you know, maybe if there’s a big, like there’s a big stunt or something that is complicated and expensive to execute that yeah it feels, I feel the pressure of
GP: Getting it right.
DM: Yeah, I feel the pressure of getting it right and the fear of consequences if not. But beyond that every scene is very important to me and I don’t go into any scene feeling like this is the big one, I have to nail it, I go into every scene feeling both, you know, adrenalin corsing through me, fearful of getting it wrong, and also really excited about what will happen when we start rolling the camera, because when you set up a scene, it’s really interesting, I don’t know if this is the experience you guys have, but for me it’s the same every time, you walk onto a new set, you block through the scene, the first block through is always terrible, everything feels so wooden and slow and clumsy and then I know that I have about half an hour with my actors to get it into the shape that it needs to be for, and that it will be for the rest of its life, and that process is exhilarating because it always happens, you always get it to the good place, there is always a moment in the first block through where I find myself sitting and going uhhh okay, what am I gonna do now? How am I gonna fix this? But it always happens, there’s something about it, something about that adrenalin and electricity on set that makes it come alive really quickly.

I: Még két kérdés.

I: Question for Rob here, ----. It’s the second post-apocalyptic movie or futuristic movie ---- Cosmopolis, why are you drawn to such projects? And what is your view of the future, is it more pessimistic or optimistic?
RP: I don’t really see either of them as post-apocalyptic. I thougth, I see both of them as quite hopeful as well, I think Cosmopolis was about a guy who didn’t know how to live and has one second feeling what it’s like to be alive before he dies, which is a kinda good thing, it’s for most people I think, and the Rover I think was always really hopeful, there’s always a, I think it’s a really funny, I mean, it’s, I think the end aside you kind of, I always talk about it in terms of my character’s story, I can’t say any kind of --- at all.
DM: It’s sad, but there’s hope in sadness. Often.
RP: Yeah, and you made an impact the character as well, I think.
DM: It’s a recognition of things that are important. When ---- of recognition happens too late, that in itself is sad, but not hopeless.
RP: As for the --- I have a very optimistic feel for the world, mainly because I like my life.

Sokszor.
RP: Igen, és hatással voltál a karakterre is.
DM: A dolgok felismerése a fontos.

I: Thank you all very much!

I: Nagyon köszönjük!
